There’s so much we can do together…
The Sawubona Project is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to cultural awareness, appreciation, exchange and overall betterment. As we embark on the various projects that carry out our mission, we recognize the invaluable benefit of the generosity of others. Contributions from our own communities make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we aim to serve and share with.
Funds raised for our 2025 Sawubona Bridge trip will help to provide critical support to the communities we will visit in South Africa. These needs include material resources such as food, health and medical supplies, educational materials, etc. not easily accessible given their disadvantaged financial circumstances. Donations may also help us cover expenses for a select group of passionate individuals and families from the United States to engage in in-person and hands-on service learning and cultural exchange activities with our partnering communities.
We also welcome funds raised after our trip to send back to these communities, continuing to make an impact well beyond our visit.
